BTS’s music video “Fake Love” (2018) surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube.

According to its music label Big Hit Music, the video surpassed the milestone at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday.

“Fake Love” is the boy band’s fifth music video to achieve the record. Its music videos for “DNA” (2017) and “Boy With Luv” (2019) exceeded 1.3 billion views, “Dynamite” (2020) exceeded 1.2 billion views and “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” exceeded 1 billion views in July.

“Fake Love” is the lead track of the band’s third album “Love Yourself: Tear,” released in May 2018.

With the album, BTS became the first Korean artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

On the same day, its music video “’On’ Kinetic Manifesto Film: Coma Prima,” surpassed 400 million views.

The band currently has 34 music videos with over 100 million views on YouTube.
