BTS’s Jin to sing theme song to ‘Jirisan’

BTS’s Jin will sing the theme song for tvN’s upcoming drama series “Jirisan.”
 
“Jirisan,” which will premier on Oct. 23, stars Jun Ji-hyun and Ju Ji-hoon. TvN describes it as a series that celebrates the 15th anniversary of the cable channel, with a plot that involves a mysterious accident on Mount Jiri.
 
Kim Eun-hee is the screenwriter and Lee Eung-bok the director. Kim worked on Netflix’s zombie series “Kingdom” (2019-21), while Lee directed the Netflix horror series “Sweet Home” (2020).
 
Jin has previously released solo songs, like “Awake” (2016), “Epiphany” (2018) and “Moon” (2020). He also participated in the soundtrack for “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth” (2016) with fellow BTS member V on the song “It’s Definitely You.”
 
The “Jirisan” theme song will be released on streaming platforms.
